Every summer, the Emmanuel Community welcomes thousands of pilgrims of all ages from all over the world.
A session in Paray is 4 or 5 days to relax, recharge your batteries and experience moments of joy, prayer, sharing, in a joyful and friendly atmosphere. Every day, a stone’s throw from the city center, different prayer times are offered. To sing about one’s Faith, to pray in silence or to celebrate Mass with more than three thousand other people!
Guests and keynote speakers develop the theme of the session. Several workshops allow you to discuss various topics to reflect on your personal life, your couple or family life, your commitment to your work and society. The evening programs vary with prayer times, testimonies and brotherhood.
For the younger ones, games, play time, puppets, crafts, football, prayer time… allow children to have fun and get closer to God. Music, teachings, sharing, fun, and prayer are proposed to teenagers for a deep and fun-filled session.
Whether you come alone, with friends or family, everyone experiences the session at their own pace. Connect groups are proposed for sharing. There is plenty of free time to discover the Shrine, stroll around the city, meet other pilgrims at the “buvette” or in the “mission village”, hover through the bookshop or pray in the open air…
Many also decide to participate in the smooth running of the session, by choosing a small service: meal service, washing-up, kiddie service….
Whether you are tall or short, young or old, with or without disabilities, alone, with a partner, family or group, you are all welcome in Paray-le-Monial, the city of the Heart of Jesus!
