A year to open up to others, a year to broaden one's horizons, a year to put God at the centre.
An Emmanuel School of Mission (ESM) has two complementary objectives: to form oneself and to learn to witness to one's faith. The ESM wants to give the world Catholics who are capable of bearing witness to their faith but also to their profound joy of being men and women. ESM is a nine-month program to empower youth through intellectual, spiritual, human and missionary training
Mass, personal and community prayer life, individual accompaniment and Bible study punctuate the life of the ESM and allow us to live this year connected to the Lord.
At the ESM a human, spiritual and theological formation is provided to enable each person to consolidate his or her faith.
For 9 months the ESM students live, pray and share their faith with 15 to 30 young people from all over the world.
ESM students live the mission throughout the year, in the regularity of local activities, but also during missions and events organised in the parishes.
Young people are called to be leaven in the world — but we cannot be leaven without first being filled with Christ.
