7 Churches Pilgrimage Testimony

Walking Pilgrimage from Mary McKillop Chapel to St Brigid’s, Coogee

Our 7 Churches Walking Pilgrimage was a grace-filled day of prayer, and fellowship. Beginning at the Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel in North Sydney, we set out with hearts open to the journey, joining together in prayer, song, mass and reflection as we walked from Church to Church. Each Jubilee Church we visited became a sacred pause along the way — an invitation to enter more deeply into God’s mercy, to pray for one another, and to be renewed in faith. The rhythm of walking together fostered a strong sense of communion, with moments of joy and laughter woven through times of silence and contemplation. Pilgrims of all ages joined, and the simple act of journeying on foot reminded us that we are all on the path toward God. Our pilgrimage concluded at St Brigid’s in Coogee, where we gathered in thanksgiving for the blessings received.
